Well as I've worked with both Jake and Josh before I can't miss out on a chance to critique there work. Well for the first podcast I would like to say congratulations. Although it seemed a bit unfocused I believe in this team and I know things will only get better. Well lets see a couple comments about the content of the podcast. I would like to say I am enthusiastic about the Chrono Trigger remake, and as much as I am fan of the series having beaten both Chrono Trigger and Chrono Cross multiple times, I'm just not sure how many times you can reproduce a game before it gets to bland. I am worried about the direction square's going with throwing out so many remakes that they aren't producing true blue sequels, I mean come on, I don't want to by 3 versions of a Final Fantasy title just to beat it again with different controls. Pick up you game Square, do something to wow us. One last thing to keep this short, I can't believe Josh or Jake had not played Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver that George had commented on. It was a great game for its, although like George mentioned a bit confusing but at the time the graphics were high quality and game play kept me interested. All in all the game was good, hopefully the new Prince of Persia will be too. I found your site this week when looking for hacks for my 360 (I want to find a way to copy mp3's and movie files - that I actually own - to my 360 harddrive across my network) and came across your 360 portable write up. That was some seriously cool work you did on that! Kudos. Anyway, I listened to all of the PodCasts and each one is funny and a refreshing view on video games (and I really like all the Nintendo bashing). This PodCast had the best intro (a close second was the Mario intro where he was buying all the PS3's). On the topic of violence in Video Games and Movies I have to say I agree with you guys. And I'd like to add that with the way society is heading young people have fewer and fewer outlets where they can be young people without getting thrown in jail (cracking down on skateboarding, bike riding, teenage drinking, etc.), Video Games help to replace some of those outlets.
